My names are Atomgbe M. Wuhe Atomgbe A.K.A. ABC4ll Mentor Rommy Wuhe,
check the link that speaks my language or Rommy's Corner:
http://home.abc4all.net/topics/view/57551/ [22]
I simply mean that I am
" A Service Deliverer (ASD)," the one who thinks service to another.
Such service can not be made without the spirit of love, which I say is
the key to solutions, as so many in the world call for PEACE to rain
reign, and not ruin.
Leadership is about the people, it does not come with two hearts but
one, it does not think for itself, it only does for all, that is why
there is what we call today A Better Community For All (ABC4All), a
legacy for the world [23].
I joined ABC4All as a volunteer Mentor and have come to learn that it is
a grassroots organization working with the spirit of coming together to
build a solid rock foundation for all receptive.
ABC4All offers a plan to bring Global Humanitarian Relief (GHR) Programs
to the world by establishing cooperating parties and relationships that
make a difference. While serving in this capacity, everybody confronts
situational activities that in most times, it feels as if there is no
way out, but one truth you must know is, Leadership is a journey for
development.
For instance, my chief, that is, in my kingdom, in Mbabyer Kingdom, {
Zaki. Tor. Iorile Daniel Wuhe.Atomgbe Ashe Wadaa, in just few counted
generations {…..his pix} who is striving to bring development home, a
true man of wisdom that is hidden into a far land. I am not about
critics, but based on facts to those whose knowledge and understanding
of the handling of leadership today, without respect for the "Golden
Rule" that is to govern the vision, and how can there be mission with
blind vision. You can not serve two masters at a time, but in today's
service, people go for the money and forget the service, the service
drives the vision, and out of that, the mission is created.
Yes, I spoke of ABC4All, but somehow left the story for another. A true
leader must understand dialogue, must understand his environmental
situation, their conditions, must initiate, able to coordinate even in
pain, be a good listener, set goals and maintain focus towards
achievement. Now, there is a question I want to ask, what does it take,
and if you already have the answer, then, what can you do to make A
Better Community For All {ABC4All)?
This very answer lives with the few people I will be mentioning;

Jealousy among siblings
|
If you have your brothers and sisters, and you remember your younger days with them, you will perhaps know what it means by envious relationship. But, if you are a single child, then you will definitely take jealousy in a literal way. But this envious relationship among siblings is not what actually jealousy is described as.
Then what is this envy really like? Do you remember you feeling bad when your brother got better marks than yours in terminal examination and was gifted a beautiful instrument box, or your sister got more beautiful dress for last dashain but not you because you couldn't find one of your size, or your mother scolded you for messing up your room while that of your sister, which remained dirty usually, was exceptionally clean today?
If you read these lines again then you will realize that in each case, the mistakes are yours. You realize it today because you are grown up now, but then? Then how many times did you realize that you are the actual wrong? Then you always grunted and groaned over the situation and over others too. And when it came to your brothers and sisters, you both would raise your voice on top of others when it came to complaining about each other in front of your parents. You hurry home to tell your parents that your sister was sent out of class because she forgot one of her textbooks to school today, or your brother torn his new shirt in a fight with his friends.
For single child, you may feel lucky that you don't need to share with others and you get everything in whole. But, you instead miss a lot of things, because when they buy a new thing, it means you also have got a new one too. Do you remember you wore your elder sister's t-shirt in your first friends gathering and felt so high? Definitely she didn't allow her dress to you at the beginning, but then you got clever and talked to her in very polite words (else you never do it!!). But she is also not that naive and made you do one of her work before letting you wear that dress. (But yes, she always gave you her dress even though she shouted at the beginning, didn't she?) You always felt high wearing her dress than wearing yours own. Don't lie to me saying that you never crept to your elder sister's dressing room and wore her make-up when she was not at home, or you were never desperate to get that sports jersey of your brother, though he has been wearing it for many years now. And can you tell me how many times in your life you committed you are not going to talk with him or her ever and landed up asking a favor from them?
If your teacher gifted you a pen for standing first in class, you don't have to wait for your parents to return back because your sister or brother will always be there to hear you. They are those wonderful friends with whom you can share even those small incidents like you were the only in your class to be able to answer your teacher's question today. I don't say that I have never hurt my sister in our relationship. I do hurt her, but its not because I hate her but because I am the only one who tells her those things about her which none of her friends say, which she doesn't want to hear, but is actually true
When you have your brothers and sisters, you grow in a better way and you become more social. It is because in a group you get into the habit of sharing as you realize you get more care when you share more.
Even after knowing all these things, I still hide my brother's favourite music CD when he misplaces my class picnic photos; even though when I know that, he will suspect me at the first place when he does not find his CD in his table. I still do eat fast to get the remote control ahead of my sister so that I don't have to miss the game show in the TV (else if remote is in her hand I must watch music programme as per her wish!!).
I do all this not only because I love them but also because I really do enjoy this envious relationship.

Free and open source software
|
Free and open-source software (F/OSS, FOSS) or free/libre/open-source software (FLOSS) is software that is liberally licensed to grant the right of users to use, study, change, and improve its design through the availability of its source code. This approach has gained both momentum and acceptance as the potential benefits have been increasingly recognized by both individuals and corporations.[1][2]
In the context of free and open-source software, free refers to the freedom to copy and re-use the software, rather than to the price of the software. The Free Software Foundation, an organization that advocates the free software model, suggests that, to understand the concept, one should "think of free as in free speech, not as in free beer".[3]
Free and open-source software is an inclusive term which covers both free software and open source software which, despite describing similar development models, have differing cultures and philosophies.[4] Free software focuses on the philosophical freedoms it gives to users while open source focuses on the perceived strengths of its peer-to-peer development model.[5] FOSS is a term that can be used without particular bias towards either political approach.
Free software licences and open source licenses are used by many software packages. While the licenses themselves are in most cases the same, the two terms grew out of different philosophies and are often used to signify different distribution methodologies.[6]
History
Main article: History of free and open source software
In the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s, it was normal for computer users to have the freedoms that are provided by free software. Software was commonly shared by individuals who used computers and by hardware manufacturers who were glad that people were making software that made their hardware useful. Organizations of users and suppliers were formed to facilitate the exchange of software; see, for example, SHARE and DECUS. By the late 1960s change was inevitable: software costs were dramatically increasing, a growing software industry was competing with the hardware manufacturer's bundled software products (free in that the cost was included in the hardware cost), leased machines required software support while providing no revenue for software, and some customers able to better meet their own needs did not want the costs of "free" software bundled with hardware product costs. In United States vs. IBM, filed January 17, 1969, the government charged that bundled software was anticompetitive.[7] While some software might always be free, there would be a growing amount of software that was for sale only. In the 1970s and early 1980s, the software industry began using technical measures (such as only distributing binary copies of computer programs) to actually prevent computer users from being able to study and customize software they had paid for. In 1980 copyright law[where?] was extended to computer programs.
In 1983, Richard Stallman, longtime member of the hacker community at the MIT Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, announced the GNU project, saying that he had become frustrated with the effects of the change in culture of the computer industry and its users.[8] Software development for the GNU operating system began in January 1984, and the Free Software Foundation (FSF) was founded in October 1985. An article outlining the project and its goals was published in March 1985 titled the GNU Manifesto. The manifesto also focused heavily on the philosophy of free software. He developed The Free Software Definition and the concept of "copyleft", designed to ensure software freedom for all.
The Linux kernel, started by Linus Torvalds, was released as freely modifiable source code in 1991. The licence wasn't exactly a free software licence, but with version 0.12 in February 1992, he relicensed the project under the GNU General Public License.[9] Much like Unix, Torvalds' kernel attracted the attention of volunteer programmers.
In 1997, Eric Raymond published The Cathedral and the Bazaar, a reflective analysis of the hacker community and free software principles. The paper received significant attention in early 1998, and was one factor in motivating Netscape Communications Corporation to release their popular Netscape Communicator Internet suite as free software. This code is today better known as Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird.
Netscape's act prompted Raymond and others to look into how to bring free software principles and benefits to the commercial software industry. They concluded that FSF's social activism was not appealing to companies like Netscape, and looked for a way to rebrand the free software movement to emphasize the business potential of the sharing of source code. The new name they chose was "open source", and quickly Bruce Perens, publisher Tim O'Reilly, Linus Torvalds, and others signed on to the rebranding. The Open Source Initiative was founded in February 1998 to encourage use of the new term and evangelize open source principles.[10]
[edit] Naming
[edit] Free software
The Free Software Definition, written by Richard Stallman and published by Free Software Foundation (FSF), defines free software as a matter of liberty, not price.[11] The earliest known publication of the definition was in the February 1986 edition[12] of the now-discontinued GNU's Bulletin publication of FSF. The canonical source for the document is in the philosophy section of the GNU Project website. As of April 2008, it is published there in 39 languages.[13]
[edit] Open source
The Open Source Definition is used by the Open Source Initiative to determine whether a software license can be considered open source. The definition was based on the Debian Free Software Guidelines, written and adapted primarily by Bruce Perens.[14][15] Perens did not base his writing on the four freedoms of free software from the Free Software Foundation, which were only widely available later.[16]
[edit] FOSS
The first known use of the phrase free open source software on Usenet was in a posting on 18 March 1998, just a month after the term open source itself was coined.[17] In February 2002, F/OSS appeared on a Usenet newsgroup dedicated to Amiga computer games.[18] In early 2002, MITRE used the term FOSS in what would later be their 2003 report Use of Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) in the U.S. Department of Defense.
[edit] FLOSS
The acronym FLOSS was coined in 2001 by Rishab Aiyer Ghosh for free/libre/open source software. Later that year, the European Commission (EC) used the phrase when they funded a study on the topic.[19]
Unlike libre software, which aimed to solve the ambiguity problem, FLOSS aimed to avoid taking sides in the debate over whether it was better to say "free software" or to say "open source software".
Proponents of the term point out that parts of the FLOSS acronym can be translated into other languages, with for example the F representing free (English) or frei (German), and the L representing libre (Spanish or French), livre (Portuguese), or libero (Italian), and so on. However, this term is not often used in official, non-English, documents, since the words in these languages for free as in freedom do not have the ambiguity problem of free in English.
By the end of 2004, the FLOSS acronym had been used in official English documents issued by South Africa,[20] Spain,[21] and Brazil.[22]
[edit] Criticism of "FLOSS" and "FOSS"
The terms "FLOSS" and "FOSS" have come under some criticism for being counterproductive and sounding silly. For instance, Eric Raymond, co-founder of the Open Source Initiative, has stated, "Near as I can figure ... people think they’d be making an ideological commitment ... if they pick 'open source' or 'free software'. Well, speaking as the guy who promulgated 'open source' to abolish the colossal marketing blunders that were associated with the term 'free software', I think 'free software' is less bad than 'FLOSS'. Somebody, please, shoot this pitiful acronym through the head and put it out of our misery." Raymond quotes programmer Rick Moen as stating "I continue to find it difficult to take seriously anyone who adopts an excruciatingly bad, haplessly obscure acronym associated with dental hygiene aids" and "neither term can be understood without first understanding both free software and open source, as prerequisite study."
[edit] Adoption by governments
See also: Linux adoption
The German City of Munich was amongst the first to announce its intention to switch from Microsoft Windows-based Operating Systems to an open source implementation of SuSE Linux in March 2003,[23][24] having achieved an adoption rate of 20% by 2010.[25]
In 2004, a law in Venezuela (Decree 3390) went into effect, mandating a two year transition to open source in all public agencies. As of June 2009 this ambitious transition is still under way.[26][27] Malaysia launched the "Malaysian Public Sector Open Source Software Program", saving millions on proprietary software licences till 2008.[28][29]
In 2005 the Government of Peru voted to adopt open source across all its bodies.[30] The 2002 response to Microsoft's critique is available online. In the preamble to the bill, the Peruvian government stressed that the choice was made to ensure that key pillars of democracy were safeguarded: "The basic principles which inspire the Bill are linked to the basic guarantees of a state of law."[31] In September, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts announced its formal adoption of the OpenDocument standard for all Commonwealth entities.[23]
In 2006, the Brazilian government has simultaneously encouraged the distribution of cheap computers running Linux throughout its poorer communities by subsidizing their purchase with tax breaks. [23]
In February 2008, the Dominican Republic passed a law to facilitate the migration of all public entities (government, education, etc.) to Software Libre, and to adopt open standards in the public sector.[32] In April, Ecuador passed a similar law, Decree 1014, designed to migrate the public sector to Software Libre.[33]
In February 2009, the United States White House moved its website to Linux servers using Drupal for content management.[34] In March, the French Gendarmerie Nationale announced it will totally switch to Ubuntu by 2015.[35]

One example to remind ourselves of how the world can include caring for another who otherwise might be ignored or even perish.
Definition of Society
Society is if we both look critically as the many spices that make a pot of soup, does it mean much to us if the society we live in has been mixed with over salt or with salt moderately applied? There are choices, seeing light versus darkness, right versus left, bad versus good.
In life, there is always a cause awaiting, now the question to raise here is, where do you belong?= The answer to so many will be “The Good Side” {TGSProject}, this will be based on willing hearts, those whose willing to serve everything, that is, including their lives.
It is said, those who love well must first embrace it by doing what is good to receive good, and good can not be done until love leads, it's all about loving your neighbor as you love yourselves, and now, what do you think?.
I have from the past, till today, been meeting a lot of weak people out there, people who almost kill themselves because they went round, believing that they knew will help them, but at the middle what happens or say happened?=Disappointments .
You see, like it was written, that we shouldn’t depend on man in flesh but God yes, the truth is, why it is as if people depend on others is because, they believe that God will use these people they are meeting to meet their needs, so that the glory of God will, will be done as called “Reigned and not Ruined”.
Every human being created by the creator is put before him first with Life and then with Death. It is for him the man to decide which is preferred.
Even as we find ourselves in the mix of society, of people of Light and Darkness, yet we preferably prepare to tango with light as the light moves.
Let us fight to be winning souls, by always remembering that, our responsibility is to live and die for others, your pain is my pain, your load is my load.
I was for so long here dying inside without anyone to share my pain with or to say that I became sick and tired of living life, wishing I was no more, I saw me in pain, I cried inside with the question, “Why me?” Help seemed distant from me, I consciously threw myself a question, asking, what have I done wrong to deserve what I never desired?
I went out that day looking bored but after, while moving, a consoling song landed the present of the uppermost, I discovered I was with so many countless on the streets almost dying or say fading away like the sun. it was there that I became strong to enable me stand for others.
I can not presently meet your needs alone, but with the good people with the understanding of togetherness to building one solid rock foundation, like , hey Burt! If you do not mind me borrowing by simply adding
like the Partnership between the
Jazz For Peace Foundation (JFPF) and Amigos Sin Barreras / Friends Without Barriers - The Foundation For A Better Community For All (FABC)
FORMULA FOR A BETTER WORLD:
JFPF + ASB/FWB-FABC = GHR
Well, don’t mind me, I am just a story teller who does not go straight but I hope you understand.
What made Brainy Quotes: Definition of Society
"The persons, collectively considered, who live in any region or at any period; any community of individuals who are united together by a common bond of nearness or intercourse; those who recognize each other as associates, friends, and acquaintances."
Is what JFPF + ASB/FWB-FABC
Stand for to achieving = GHR.
Remember he mentioned collectively considered, he spoke about one vital thing there, saying any community of individuals who are united together by a common bond of nearness or intercourse; those who recognize each other as associates, friends etc.
Perfection comes when there is togetherness in agreement.
Its gladdens my heart belonging as ABC4All Mentor among other mentors in 110 countries today. I will also thank God for truly connecting me with the right organization or say Foundation like ABC4All who has taken much time to undergroundly build Global Humanitarian Relief {GHR} into manifestation.
Burton Danet, Ph.D., Co-Founder/Bob Chew Co-Founder who open the door to their hearts for us to enter, they thought of us to endure while facing challenges, for some of us with so many challenges yet with them and other co-mentors who in no small measure fought and are still fighting causes that are sensitive in the face of our communities of the world.
Respect RICK DELLARATTA, my brother, you mean much to so many, and with your thought for mankind, I simply say, Let thy will be done.
I totally agree with you, it is right for all of us to follow the light that we, too, might be transformed into that same light for others to follow.
Being inspired by the past contributors who came before and left a mark for us, they have done greatly well, and so today, people of such as Burt/Chew / Rick Dellaratta and Amigos Sin Barreras / Friends Without Barriers
Who have come together, now building to make a difference through a wonderful partnership with a sustainable formula for a better world.
Thanks’ to the the willing hearts.
A powerful one there by Rick Dellaratta who said,
“So we can raise our total conscience and

URGENT: when Egypt arrest the Nobel laureate and turned off the internet!!
|

Popular unrest in Egypt continued into a fourth day following Friday prayers, demanding an end to the rule of President Hosni Mubarak today despite the security clampdown.
Opposition leader and Nobel laureate and the former head of the International Atomic Energy Agency Mohamed ElBaradei said he would lead a transition government if called upon to do so. But with the beginning of the demonstrations he was arrested and taken to an unknown place.
Police responded by firing tear gas in a bid to disperse the angry crowd.
Protests were also reported from Suez and the Nile Delta cities of Mansoura and Sharqiya, the Reuters news agency said quoting witnesses.
Clashes between protesters and police erupted outside a mosque in the capital, Cairo. Protesters reportedly threw stones and dirt at the police after security forces confronted them.
They held up posters saying "No to dictatorship" and stamped on posters of Mubarak.
Earlier, the government blocked internet, mobile phone and SMS services in order to disrupt the planned demonstrations.
For the past four days, cities across Egypt have witnessed unprecedented protests against the 30-year rule of Hosni Mubarak, the president.
The violence has so far left seven people dead.
Earlier, anti-government activists put messages on Facebook social networking site, listing more than 30 mosques and churches to organise the protests.
"Egypt's Muslims and Christians will go out to fight against corruption, unemployment and oppression and absence of freedom," the page with more than 70,000 signatories said.
The elite special counterterrorism force had been deployed at strategic points around Cairo as Egypt's interior ministry warned of "decisive measures".
About a half-hour past midnight on Friday in Egypt, the internet went dead.
Almost simultaneously, the handful of companies that pipe the internet into and out of Egypt went dark as protesters were gearing up for a fresh round of demonstrations calling for the end of president Hosni Mubarak's nearly 30-year rule, experts said.
Egypt has apparently done what many technologists thought was unthinkable for any country with a major internet economy: It unplugged itself entirely from the internet to try and silence dissent.
Experts say it is unlikely that what has happened in Egypt could happen in the United States because the US has numerous internet providers and ways of connecting to the internet. Co-ordinating a simultaneous shutdown would be a massive undertaking.
Required solidarity with the Egyptian people; every one according to his/her networks, orgs...etc.

I am in a happy mood as we again have approach the celebration of Christmas season, and love to wish you all long life and prosperity, it shouldn't be only Christmas but after that.
I want to advice you man and woman or say husband, wives and children all over the world to remain the way you were before the Christmas approach, to be patient with one another.
Christmas is not about fighting to hurt each other feelings but a symbol of Love for all, the one who was born brought forth the true meaning of Love, and now, we also have to learn after his steps and love each other meaningfully.
Don't fight after material thing, over the birth that brought forth to us all.
Husbands, Wives, Sons and Daughters of the heavenly, the creator, please...., remain calm indeed, don't switch off from your responsibilities in line of duty.
Love, and then peace to the world, to making a better community for all.

|
A CALL FOR LIFE SAVING PROJECT:
Introduction:
My names are Atomgbe M. Wuhe Atomgbe. A.K.A. ABC4ALL Mentor, Rommy Wuhe.
http://abc4all.net/mentorrommywuhe.htm
I am a humanitarian artist, an activist, publisher dealing with all aspects of human endevour. I am also a volunteer friend of the African Refugees Foundation, located at 'Plot 49, Babs Animashaun Estate Ext.Surulere-Lagos, founded by Amb. Chief. Segun Olusola.Tel-08033231556
On the other hand, as a songwriter and performer, I have also done songs creating awareness on issues that are plaguing the world with global issues like:
· saying No to human trafficking and child labor,
· caring for persons living with HIV/AIDS,
· Unity song{done in Tiv Language} and so on.
Here is an example of original songs I created for ABC4All:

I presently work together with ABC4All, meaning A Better Community for All. It is a mentoring project that is built to help develop and equip youth, to let them see, say, know or learn why due process is the best way forward into success as good citizen. More info: ABC4All Global Mentoring TEAM Project http://projects.tigweb.org/abc4allglobalteam
With that interest in mind, I have been developing and building a case study over what is needed mostly to deal with humanitarian concerns: Yes, a hand of friendship, to help set the captive free, to heal the sick and to direct those who are lost and can't find their way into a brighter future.
To state my case: I am actually calling out to bring into existence "The Willing For A Life-Saving Project{LSP}. This proposal is contained within the story of Cecilia, the woman with Cancer.
http://home.abc4all.net/articles/view/159192/?topic=34025
We will be as willing, working together with our God-given collective ideas, aiming to achieve the monies and equipment needed to achieve fulfillment to the glory of God who is the creator. This project will not end with the woman in question, which is Mrs Cecilia Akumbana Tsehe, it is a vision, a long-term that will go a long way in saving the lives of those who are dying elsewhere without care in the rural home like Mrs Cecilia Akumbana Tsehe.
Focus: Rural homes to Urban homes.
Who is involved? All the willing media ready for life-saving, other non-profit organisations, in time with State to Federal government approaches.
International approach: Create a documentary as a follow up: A research to help others learn, simply creating awareness and action.
COMMENT: "Kernel of Hope:"
ABC4All right now is similarly supporting Amigos Sin Barreras / Friends Without Barriers, with their aim matching the above - dealing with persons living with HIV/AIDS with the long-term goal of setting up a hospice. http://www.amigosonline.org/ http://www.trunity.net/mmcp/topics/view/55824/
Love, and then peace to the world.
Sincerely,
ABC4All Mentor,
Rommy Wuhe.
